Located on the bank of Song Huong- Perfume River; Hue, the capital of Thua Thien Hue province in Central Vietnam, is 700 km southern Hanoi, 1100km northern Ho Chi Minh City, and only a few miles from the sea. Hue is just about 100km from Hoian, one of world best travel destination. Not until 1945 was Hue the national capital, the political, cultural and religious center of Vietnam under the control of Nguyen Dynasty. Most well-known for its historic values; Hue had been recognized as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. We suggest the following options:

Option 1: Hue - Battle Fields

Travellers to Vietnam this time will not be unfamiliar with the special tour: the Demilitarized Zone Tour referred to as the DMZ tour. After the wars, Quang Tri has made immortal place-names accompanying years like Hien Luong bridge, Ben Hai river, Vinh Moc tunnel, Ho Chi Minh trail, Carroll military base, Khe Sanh, Ta Con airport, Mc Namara electronic fence, Doc Mieu – Con Tien …The precious heritages were exchanged by countless blood and bones, and then to now they have been seen as special “tourism products” that nowhere has. Pick-up in Hue, head north on Highway 1A toward Dong Ha, stop at sites along the way such as Highway of Horror. Continue to Dong Ha, the former headquaters of the elements of the U.S Marines, head west on Route 9. The first stop is the Rockpile, a look-out of the U.S Marine Corps, See the Van Kieu village on the way to khe sanh. Continue to Khe Sanh village, visit Khe Sanh Combat Base. Lunch in Dong Ha. After lunch, head north to visit Hien Luong Bridge over Ben Hai river at the middle of the DMZ ( Demilitarized Zone ), the river that was the only true physical demarcation between North and South Vietnam . Continue to Vinh Moc tunnels, the refuge of some 400 north Vietnamese inhabitants during the bombing operation “ Rolling Thunder “. Back to Hue. End of the trip..

Option 2: Hue Night Street Food by Cyclo

Daily departure: pickup 17:30/ Drop-off 20:30

The guide and cyclo will pick up you from your hotel and go to Hen island to enjoy a specialty here : Com Hen : rice with mussel). After enjoying Com hen, you will go to a local restaurant to enjoy Hue pancake, Banh Beo, Banh Nam ( steamed rice flour topped with shrimp). Before Crossing Phu Xuan bridge You will enjoy beef noodle or Bun Thit Nuong at local restaurant. Then, move to Dong Ba market, we will enjoin Nem lui . Cross Trang Tien bridge, move to the night market , we will have chance to see the Hue local life at night. Enjoy Banh my Trang Tien (Trang Tien bread). At the end of the tour, you can stop at a local sweet soup store and enjoy the special desert of Hue city : ‘’Chè’’ or beer. On the way back to hotel, we will visit the embroidary museum to see the amazing products of the top artists in Hue.

Option 3: Hue Countryside and Cycling Tour - 1/2 days

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and ride along the beautiful road to Thanh Toan village. On the way, you will have lots of chances to takes pictures with the immense rice paddy fields, visit family temple and local market. When reaching Thanh Toan village, the guide will tell you about the farm work at the Agriculture Museum. Then, you will have a relaxing time at Thanh Toan Bridge, enjoy the fresh wind from the small river, rice field. After that, we will ride back to your hotel on another small road. Tour ends at 12h pm or 5h30 pm.

Option 4: Hue - Phong Nha Cave

Daily departure: Pickup 7:00/ Drop off 19:00

Phong Nha Caves are the complex of 14 grottoes situated in a region of Limestone Mountains in Ke Bang National Park. Phong Nha Cave has a total length of 7,729m. Phong Nha Cave was listed as a World Natural Heritage Site in July of 2003 by Unesco. The Cham People has used Phong Nha Cave as Buddhist sanctuaries in the 9 and 10 centuries. Visit the cave, you will have a chance to explore remain of Cham altars and inscriptions inside the cave. Pick up the guest at hotel in Hue at 7h am and go to Phong Nha. It takes 3 hours from Hue to Phong Nha Caves. On the way we stop to visit some of the most famous battle-field in Vietnam War, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, lying in the Demilitarized Zone of the Vietnam war. Have a lunch at at local restaurant then getting on boat and cruise along the river to Phong Nha Cave. The deeper one penetrates, the more magical are the natural aspects of the caves. After on boat for 700m, a large dry passage is appear, then you can walk to discover the cave for 500m more. You will have a chance to explore the remain of Cham Altars and Inscriptions inside.

Option 5: Hue - Thuy Bieu Village Cycling and Cooking Class

Thuy Bieu – the ancient village in the heart of Hue city, located on the left bank of the Huong River, about 4km southwest of the city center. You will have many interesting experiences to enjoy perfectly the beauty of sightseeing and local people here. At 8h00 am, we start the tour by walking from your hotel to the boat station. From here, we will take the boat trip about 40 minutes along the Perfume river to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. After visiting Thien Mu Pagoda, we will come back the boat station and go on arriving to Thuy Bieu village. Coming to Thuy Bieu village, you continue your trip by bike around this village to contemplate the beauty of the immense rice paddy field and the green pomelo garden. You can try the well-known and delicious fruit of Thuy Bieu village which is smaller but sweeter than pomelo and known under the name of Thanh Tra. In addition, you can take short stop to see schools, communal houses, ancient temples and especially the garden house. Its architecture is typical of Hue and the Nguyen dynasty with small cottages hidden in large luxuriant gardens, long gates and fences carved out of ornamental trees. After that, you have chance to learn how to cook some traditional food of Hue at a cooking class here and enjoy the food prepared by yourselves. After lunch, you can relax your feet by soaking the medicinal herb foot spa. It helps you refresh before cycling to the boat station and taking the boat trip to come back to your hotel..
