Booking terms and conditions
The following terms and conditions are applied to bookings made by you - the clients and Indochina Treks Travel Co.,Ltd. Please read carefully.
Depending on each booking tour or services, full payment or deposit is required upon confirmation to guarantee your booking. Full payment should be paid to IndochinaTreks before the use of our services otherwise booking will be cancelled without prior notice. Indochinatreks will recognize the amount received only. Transfer fees or other charges to settle the payment should be paid at your end. Specific payment terms would be applied in accordance with our suppliers’ policies.
a. The Indochinatreks reserves the right to substitute accommodation outlined on the Trip itinerary with accommodation of a similar standard and value if not available.
b. If as a consequence of “force major”, the Indochinatreks is obliged to curtail, alter, extend or cancel a Tour, you shall not be at liberty to maintain a claim for compensation or otherwise for any loss arising as a consequence of said curtailment, alteration, extension or cancellation of the holiday. Force Majeur means Act of God, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, fire or other destruction of any vessel, craft or vehicle to be used in connection with a holiday, destruction or damage to holiday accommodation, riots, acts of war, civil commotion, exercise of legislative or government action, municipal or military or other authority, strikes, industrial action, requisition of equipment, mechanical breakdown, shortage of fuel, insolvency or default of any carrier or service connected with a Tour, fraud perpetrated against the Indochinatreks.
a. Cancellation by Indochinatreks: If balance is not paid for by the due date, you do not arrive on the agreed date or time for the Tour, or your behavior either prior to or during the tour is likely to endanger the safety or well being of other travelers, the Indochinatreks shall have the right to cancel the Tour. Cancellation charges apply as set up below
b. Cancellation by you: If you wish to cancel your tour, you must notify Indochinatreks in writing by fax or email. Beside a non refundable charge of US$100/person for administration fees plus cancellation charge by service suppliers, hotels, airline (if any), the following charges will apply:
- 80 days or more: 10% of booking value
- 60 to 79 days: 20% of booking value
- 15 to 59 days: 30% of booking value
- 7 to 14 days: 50% of booking value
- 3 to 6 days: 75% of booking value
- 2 days or less/No Show: 100 % of booking value
Other cancellation policies would be applied for each specific booking. You should contact with the Indochinatreks' staff before settling the payment.
You are obliged to check their travel documentation to ensure that the dates and all other related information as itinerary, voucher... are correct and should notify the Indochinatreks immediately of any errors or omissions. Travel documentation as passport, visa, travel insurances must be in in order and prearranged by you unless notified otherwise by Indochinatreks.
a. The Indochinatreks is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest must be borne by you.
b. The Indochinatreks shall not be liable for any damage caused to you by the failure to perform of improper performance of the Contract where the failure or the improper performance is due.
c. You are required to have full travel insurance managed in advance. It is your responsibility to read their insurance policy and ensure that the insurance scheme provides you with the requisite level of cover.
No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the Tour prices but not utilized by the Tour members. Refund fees (if any) must be paid at your end.
